Sea World San Diego - The final chapter

Hunter ended up buying a wooden whale tail necklace, like he'd seen in the Believe show.  It was really cute.

Dad had a turn at one of the midway games, and won these stylish sunnies!

Kingston liked them a lot!

Then we went back to the Sesame Street Bay of Play.  It was pretty quiet in there so the waits for the rides weren't too long.

First up was Elmo's Flying Fish

Kenzie rode with Nana

and Hunter rode alone.

Then Craig took the kid son Oscar's Rocking Eel.

It had been a wonderful day, but we were all worn out, and ready for some food.  We really had a great time at Sea World, I think if we had more time in San Diego we would have liked to spend a second day there.

Craig was in the mood for some mexican, so I pulled out my handy dandy notebook, where I had written down some recommended restaurants and found a perfect place.

We had dinner at La Pinata, the oldest restaurant in Oldtown.  The food was excellent, and so were the Margaritas!  We sat outside on the patio, but the inside was decorated with every kind of pinata you could think of, it was really neat and the kids thought it was great BUT they were dying to open one of the pinatas!

After we were sufficiently stuffed we drove mum and dad back to their hotel and got our kids back to ours and into bed.  They were asleep quickly.
