Kingston liked this Octopus as we were walking past so we decided to try and take a family picture.
Hmmm
Yeah it didn't work out so well.
The Sesame Street area was very cool, it was filled with rides for the little ones, and lots of play areas. They had water play too, which was perfect for the kids, it was VERY hot by this point.
Naturally, Kingston needed the fish to 'bite' him!
He was so funny, he liked running around in the water, but he would cover his ears!
Hunter climbed way up in the ropes, even though he took his shirt off he was still dripping with sweat when he came down.
While the kids were playing I saw the spot where you get to meet the characters, so my Dad and I took Kingston over, I wish I had a picture of his face as he turned that corner and saw....
ELMO!
He went running over to Elmo and backed himself up into him for a hug.
Then he turned to look at Elmo and talk to him, it was too cute, I think Dad got some of it on video. He'd turn and look at him then back in for another hug. Big Bird was next to Elmo, but Kingy wasn't interested.
Nobody else was waiting so he got to spend quite a bit of time with Elmo, eventually Elmo took him over to meet Big Bird. He pretty much just patted his beak before running back to Elmo.
He got a couple more hugs before I dragged him away. I ended up buying the pictures they took as well, they turned out a little better than mine, and Kingston asks to look at his pictures everyday.
We rounded up the kids and checked our maps for what to do next. Craig and Hunter had a special appointment at 11:45, so we left them at their meeting point and we went to check out the Manatee Rescue.
It was pretty cool, those manatee are HUGE!!
We still has some time after the Manatee so we went to see the sharks. They weren't too scary!
Then we headed back to see if Craig and Hunter had started yet.
I'm sure you're wondering what they were going to be doing?
You'll have to wait for my next post to find out!
