While there is no alcohol served at Disneyland, DCA is a whole other story. After eating our tasty tortillas, we saw a frozen Margarita stand. Craig got one for himself, and we got a virgin one for the kids to share. It was just what they needed to help combat that insane heat. We were all hot and sweaty and sticky! Oh did I mention hungry. We drank as we walked down to Paradise Pier.
We crossed the bridge up to Ariel's Grotto and admired how pretty that area of the Park was.
We checked in for lunch
For some reason it took forever for them to call us. but eventually they did. We went downstairs to meet and get a picture with Ariel, Mackenzie was so happy to meet her, and Ariel was excited that Kenzie was dressed like her.
We ordered our meals, and waited for the princesses to come. By this stage it was almost 2pm, the kids were very tired and hot. Kingy had a little meltdown, but once his food
came he was okay again.
The first Princess to visit our table was Belle.
Then we got to see Cinderella.
Followed by Aurora, that's Sleeping Beauty to those of you non-princess experts.
And finally Jasmine. They were all very sweet, and all made comments to Kenzie about her dress, a couple of them even called her Ariel, Jasmine asked if she was there to give her swimming lessons. Kenzie really enjoyed it! She seemed a little awestruck though and didn't really know what to say to them, which is not something that happens often! The restaurant was very pretty.Kingy wanted to be a princess too. Here he is trying to wear the tiara.
I won't post the picture of Craig trying it on. You'll have to use your imagination.
Haha!
And one last picture of Kenzie on our way out after lunch.
Hunter WAS at lunch with us, I just realised he's not in any of the pictures, he didn't mind saying hi to the princesses but he wasn't into getting his picture taken at all.
We left the lunch and decided to go back to the hotel, Kingston badly needed to nap and the kids were desperate to swim, and it was almost 100 degrees!! That's around 38 degrees to you normal folk, no wonder we were hot!
