Disneyland Day 1 - Part 2

So the treehouse was a hit, what next?  We walked right by Pirates of the caribbean and there was no line, so we decided to give it a try.  This is a ride where you're in a boat in the dark, and you ride through various pirate scenes.  Well this was not a hit with my crew.  It was too dark, it was too long and it was too scary!  So no more pirates for us!  We came out to collect the stroller and Mackenzie was so upset, she didn't want to go on any more rides - EVER!

Uh-oh, so we by-pass Haunted Mansion, and head down to the Winnie the Pooh ride, what could be scary about that?  But she wouldn't even get on it, so I rode with Hunter and Kingston and Craig and Kenzie waited.  It was a cute ride and not at all scary, but she could not be convinced.  We did see Tigger though, Kingston was very excited to meet him.

So we decided it was time for some lunch.  We headed around into Frontierland and got some tasty mexican food at Rancho del Zocalo.  Mackenzie did not want to go on anymore rides, so we wandered through frontierland for a while.

Then we saw Big Thunder Ranch,  so we decided to go and check it out.

Inside was so cute, they had different disney characters carved out of pumpkins.

and we met a castmember who gave us honorary citizen badges, then when he found out it was our first time, he gave us first visit badges as well.

This made the kids so happy.  Then they saw Jessie.  She invited us to come and sit down and colour.

Kingston decided to get up and ran over to Jessie saying Hello, and waving.
She seemed to like him too and spent ages playing with him.
The photopass photographer was taking lots of pictures of them together.
He thought Kingston had the curliest hair in the world.  it was funny.

Then Jessie took the kids on to play a game.
