Broken bones

On the Monday night after father's day, Kingston fell in the dining room, nothing exciting, just tripped over his own feet (skis) but he wouldn't walk. I was concerned but not too much, however by the morning he still wasn't walking and it was quite bruised, so after taking the kids to school we headed to the doctor. He took one look and sent us through to the children's hospital.

They gave him some pain medicine and sent us to x-ray.
Sure enough it was broken. They call it a toddler fracture, he probably twisted his foot when he fell, which broke the bone at the bottom of his leg. He was such a trooper through the whole ordeal, and even fell asleep while the doctor was plastering his leg.

They put on a split cast to allow for swelling and gave us an appointment to come back in a week for a full cast.

My mum came into town for a few days on the Thursday afterwards. We were so happy to have her visit, and on the Sunday her and I went to see WICKED. We both really enjoyed it.
