The Powerhouse Museum

We took the kids to the powerhouse museum to see the Star Wars Exhibit. It was lots of fun, they all really like Star Wars, and much of it was hands on. We saw lots of props from the movie, and learnt about robots.

It's a great museum, with lots of interesting exhibits.

Kenzie met a Jedi.

They had to try to build their own Moisture farm

After we were done with Star Wars, went outside and had some lunch, there's a great play area where the kids could climb and run about.

Next we went to explore the rest of the Museum. There's an awesome area for 3-6 year olds called Zoe's House. The kids don hard hats and safety vests and get to play at building a house.

Hunter liked the crane best, he spent ages loading it up and moving it up, down and around.

Here he is fitting a window

And building a wall

Kenzie liked loading the blocks into carts and pushing it along the track

Kingy liked the conveyer belt

Here's Kenzie on a Penny farthing Bicycle in the Transport Section of the Museum
