Kingston's Placenta Planting

The day we left New Zealand, November 29th, which was also the day he turned 19 months, I finally planted Kingy's placenta.

It had been in my freezer since we came home from the hospital. We had planted Hunter and Mackenzie's with a new tree in my parents garden, and I wanted to do something similar with Kingston's.

Of course, I had run out of time and was unsure what to do with it, when my friend Carmen came to the rescue, they had a new tree to plant in their garden, and she was happy to plant Kingston's Placenta in with it.

So we had a little ceremony, which was really nice, and Kingston got to be a big part of it, so I was happy we ended up waiting so long. He loved getting to throw the dirt down into the hole.

A quick update

We are in Sydney, life is good, so far 2009 is going well.  Craig went back to work this week, and we had some insanely hot days, lucky for the pool being so close.  Tuesday got up to 42 degrees (110f), it rained yesterday which was a welcome relief from the heat.

Our container should be delivered on Friday, which is very exciting, it'll be nice to have my own bed finally!

I got a car this week, what a relief, it's a Chrysler Grand Voyager, and it's perfect.

I'm going to try and update what we've been doing over the past 6 weeks, including Christmas, which was fantastic and naturally I have a tonne of pictures.

Stay tuned.........
